Following further medical examinations after his return to Thailand, Somkiat Chantra successfully underwent surgery on both arms on Saturday, 17 January, at Bangkok Hospital. Somkiat Chantra suffered a crash during a private training session at the Sepang International Circuit while riding a stock Honda CBR1000RR-R machine.
