Just a couple of days after completing the fifth WorldSBK round at Donington Park and Team HRC is already on site at Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic, ready for the upcoming sixth round of the 2024 Superbike World Championship.

The British round at Donington Park brought less than satisfactory results for factory riders Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge, who respectively scored a best of thirteenth in Race 1 and fifteenth in Race 2.

As for the 2023 edition of the Czech round, Iker scored a top five finish in race 1, while Xavi crossed the line ninth in race 2.  The duo will aim to utilize all they’ve learned during the UK round as they head into the second event of this double-header.

Located in the north-west of the Czech Republic, Autodrom Most is located approximately 100 km from Prague. The circuit is a relatively recent addition to the WorldSBK calendar, having hosted the production-derived series for the first time in 2021. The track currently measures 4.212 km in length and is made up of a great variety of turns, 21 in all.

“Back-to-back races give us a good opportunity to continue growing. We arrive at a track that allowed us to make a step forward and have a positive weekend last year. This time around, we will try to build on the positives of last year and the work done in Donington last week. We know it won't be easy, but we are committed to improving. Most will be another chance for us to make progress.”

Iker Lecuona 7

“The Most track presents similar challenges to Donington for us, making it a very tricky circuit. So, we’re not exactly expecting easy races. That said, we are hopeful that the extensive hard work and adjustments we made during the Donington weekend will pay off. With the next event coming straight after round five, we’ll have an opportunity to see if our efforts over the British weekend can help us start on Friday in a better position, setting a more positive trend for the rest of the weekend.”
