Circuito Estoril – Portugal
Located just outside Lisbon, Circuito Estoril is one of Portugal’s most historic racing venues. It first featured on the WorldSBK calendar in 1988 — the inaugural season — and hosted several editions, with the last one before a long hiatus taking place in 1993. After a 26-year absence, the circuit returned in 2020 and hosted the Portuguese Round for three consecutive years until 2022. Absent in 2023, Estoril made a welcome comeback in 2024 and will stage Round 11 of the 2025 season.
Its coastal setting often brings variable weather, adding an extra layer of complexity to racing strategy. With its technical layout and rich heritage, Estoril combines challenge and nostalgia — making it a standout stop on the WorldSBK tour and a fan favourite in the Iberian Peninsula.
