With the summer break almost at an end, the Honda HRC team is at Spain’s Motorland Aragón circuit for a two-day testing session on 25–26 August, stepping up preparations for the closing phase of the 2025 Superbike World Championship.

Xavi Vierge is ready to get back on the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP after a few days to rest and recharge. Meanwhile, Iker Lecuona continues to recover following surgery on his left arm and will not participate in the test. Lecuona will be replaced by fellow Spaniard Sergio García, 22, who will have the opportunity to ride the Fireblade at a circuit he knows very well from his Moto3 and Moto2 experience.
