For Iker Lecuona, the first World Superbike test with Team HRC at the Jerez de la Frontera track in Spain came to an end midway through the second of three days, following a very satisfying opening day of intense work during which the riders began to get a feel for both their CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE and the category.

After hitting his left hand in a fall at turn 12, the last right-hand corner, Iker was taken to the medical centre and then Jerez hospital for a thorough check-up. Doctors will check on Iker’s finger again in the next few days.
